christ0ph commented on Iceberg Launches, Now Everyone Can Program I know this thread is fully discussed, however i just cant keep my self from adding a few points to the discussion: magnebergan #1: I guess the reason you didn't see google or facebook coming is what differentiates you from Zuckerberg and Larry Page (to put it in a sarcastic but no pun intended kind of way ;-)What we always have to remember is that the world isn't only black or white. I have also been on projects where the buyer have ordered something completely different from what they needed. And that's what keeps this business so darn interesting. As consultants, programmers, project managers its our duty to try and understand the real needs. Thats why we have people like Interaction designers and so on. The piece of code is a problemsolver to a stated need. To reach the masses it has to be made "human" (not in an AI kind of way), and that's a skill programmers have a bad reputation of lacking.
